After a season ending tailspin that saw CSSC fall out of the playoff places last year, team management decided to inject a little youthful vigor into an ageing midfield. The Doerksen Brothers, Emilio Garrido and Niall Harney were all added to give CSSC a new look midfield. On the down side defensive linchpin Riley De Blonde has become soft like a little buttercup and foregone soccer for long distance running. We will also have to somehow manage to cope without super star Mark Hudson, whose knee surgery is keeping him out of the line up. Last, we had to bid goodbye to our very own, more handsome, version of Eugene V Debs when Peyton Veitch took a job in the nation's capital. Manager John Loxley is a bit concerned that there might be some early season issues with the revamped line up gelling, but we did have 21 players at a preseason practice so that's a good sign.
